Scope

This privacy policy describes the processing of users’ personal data in relation to the website www.pixuprint.net (the “Website”), contact forms, browsing, language preferences, analytics services, anti-spam systems and any marketing/newsletter activities.

Pixuprint presents and promotes artistic designs. The purchase of prints and customized products does not take place directly on Pixuprint: when the user chooses to purchase a product, they are redirected to the website of the commercial partner Redbubble, which independently manages the order, payment, production, shipping, support and returns.

This privacy policy applies in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003, as amended, and the applicable e-privacy rules.


Data processed

  • Browsing data: IP address, user-agent, technical logs, online identifiers, cookies and data relating to the use of the Website, according to the preferences expressed through the cookie banner.

  • Data sent through contact forms: first name, last name, email, telephone number where provided, message and other information voluntarily communicated by the user.

  • Language preferences: language settings and language preference cookies, including through tools such as Polylang.

  • Newsletter: email, any first name/last name and preferences, if the user chooses to subscribe to the newsletter. The newsletter service may be managed through Mailjet / Sinch Email.

  • Anti-spam and security data: technical data processed through form protection tools, such as Google reCAPTCHA, where present.

Pixuprint does not directly collect or manage data relating to orders placed on Redbubble, such as full payment details, shipping addresses, billing details, order status or return requests relating to purchases completed on Redbubble’s website.


Purposes and legal bases

  • Technical management of the Website and security: delivery of pages, prevention of abuse, diagnostics, maintenance and protection of the Website. Legal basis: legitimate interest of the Controller (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).

  • Presentation of designs and redirection to Redbubble: displaying artistic content and enabling the user to access the commercial partner’s website to purchase prints or customized products. Legal basis: legitimate interest of the Controller (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) and, where applicable, pre-contractual measures requested by the user (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).

  • Contacts: responding to requests sent through forms or email. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures requested by the user and/or legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.b/f GDPR).

  • Analytics: aggregated traffic analysis through Google Analytics, including through Site Kit or similar tools. Legal basis: user consent, where required (Art. 6.1.a GDPR).

  • Newsletter/marketing: sending informational or promotional communications, if the user voluntarily subscribes. Legal basis: user consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR).

  • Language localization: storing the language preference through Polylang or similar tools. Legal basis: functional necessity and/or consent, where required.

  • Anti-spam protection: protecting forms and preventing automated submissions through Google reCAPTCHA. Legal basis: legitimate interest of the Controller in the security of the Website (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) and/or consent where required by the service configuration.


Mandatory nature of data provision

The data requested in contact forms is necessary to respond to the user’s requests. Failure to provide such data may prevent the request from being sent or Pixuprint from responding.

Analytics, marketing/newsletter activities and non-technical cookies are optional and carried out only with prior consent, where required.


Processing methods

Data is processed using electronic tools and appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect it from unauthorized access, loss, alteration or improper disclosure.

Access to data is limited to the Controller and authorized providers who act, depending on the case, as Data Processors pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR or as Independent Data Controllers.


Purchase of prints through Redbubble

Pixuprint does not directly sell products and does not directly manage orders, payments, production, shipping, returns or after-sales support relating to prints.

When the user chooses to purchase a print or product, they are redirected to the Redbubble website. Redbubble independently manages the purchase process, including payment, production, shipping, customer support, any returns and refunds.

For these activities, Redbubble acts according to its own privacy policy and terms of service. Before completing the purchase, the user is invited to consult the privacy and contractual documentation available on Redbubble’s website.


Recipients of data

  • Hostinger: hosting and technical infrastructure of the Website, with servers located in the European Union, unless otherwise indicated by the provider.

  • Google: analytics services, Site Kit, Google Analytics and Google reCAPTCHA, where active and configured. Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

  • Mailjet / Sinch Email: possible newsletter management, if the service is activated and the user subscribes. Mailjet Privacy Policy: https://www.mailjet.com/legal/privacy-policy/.

  • Redbubble: commercial partner to which the user is redirected for the purchase of prints and products. Redbubble independently manages orders, payments, production, shipping, support and returns according to its own privacy policy. https://www.redbubble.com/privacy.

  • Authorities and consultants: where required by law or necessary to protect the rights of the Controller.


Transfers outside the EEA

Some providers, including Google, Mailjet / Sinch Email and Redbubble, may process data also outside the European Economic Area.

Such transfers take place on the basis of the instruments provided for by the GDPR, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), adequacy decisions or other applicable mechanisms adopted by the providers.


Retention

  • Requests sent through contact forms or email: up to 24 months, unless further retention is necessary to protect rights.

  • Newsletter: until consent is withdrawn or the user unsubscribes. Consent logs may be retained for the time necessary to demonstrate the correct acquisition of consent.

  • Technical logs: up to 6 months, unless further retention is necessary for security or the investigation of unlawful acts.

  • Cookies and online identifiers: according to the durations indicated in the Cookie Policy.


Cookies and consent

The Website uses technical cookies and, subject to consent where required, analytics cookies and other similar tools.

A consent management banner is active through Complianz or a similar tool. Non-necessary scripts and cookies remain disabled until the user provides consent, where required.

The user may change their preferences at any time through the “Manage consent” panel. Further details are available in the Cookie Policy.


Google Analytics

The Website may use Google Analytics, including through Google Site Kit, to collect aggregated statistical information about the use of the Website, such as pages visited, session duration, approximate geographical origin and devices used.

Google Analytics is used in compliance with the preferences expressed by the user through the cookie banner, where required by applicable law.


Google reCAPTCHA

Some forms on the Website may be protected by Google reCAPTCHA, a service used to distinguish human access from automated submissions and to prevent spam or abuse.

reCAPTCHA may collect technical data, such as IP address, user-agent, interactions with the page and other elements necessary for the security verification. Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.


Newsletter

If the user chooses to subscribe to the newsletter, Pixuprint may process the email address and, if provided, the user’s first name, last name and preferences to send informational or promotional communications.

The legal basis is the user’s consent, which may be withdrawn at any time through the unsubscribe link included in the emails or by contacting Pixuprint.

The service may be managed through Mailjet / Sinch Email.


Advertising and remarketing

At present, Pixuprint does not declare the use of Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Google Ads Remarketing or similar behavioral advertising tools.

If such tools are activated in the future, this privacy policy and the Cookie Policy will be updated and the tools will be used only with prior consent, where required.


Payments, shipping and returns

Pixuprint does not directly process payment data, full billing details, shipping addresses or information relating to returns and refunds for purchases made on Redbubble.

Such activities are managed exclusively by Redbubble, according to its own Privacy Policy, Terms of Service and commercial policies.


Data subject rights

The user has the right to obtain, in the cases provided for by the GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, data portability, withdrawal of consent and objection to automated decision-making where applicable.

For requests relating to orders, payments, shipping, returns or purchases made on Redbubble, the user must contact Redbubble directly through the channels indicated on its website.

The user also has the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it – Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Rome).


Security

Pixuprint adopts appropriate technical and organizational measures, including TLS/HTTPS, updates, access controls and Website protection measures.

The data processed through the Website is hosted by selected technical providers, except as indicated for any transfers outside the EEA by third-party services.


Minors

The Website and services are not intended for children under 14 years of age pursuant to Art. 2-quinquies of the Italian Privacy Code.

If Pixuprint detects data of minors processed without suitable authorization, it will proceed with its removal.


Automated decision-making and profiling

Pixuprint does not make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects concerning the data subject or similarly significantly affect them.

Any use of analytics tools takes place according to the preferences expressed by the user and does not involve automated decision-making by Pixuprint.


Changes

This privacy policy may be updated at any time to reflect technical, regulatory or organizational changes.
